What it is

The DeWalt DT9539-QZ is a hammer drill bit from the SDS-Plus Extreme series with a diameter of 10 mm, dedicated to drilling concrete. It features a carbide grit head and two-cutting-edge geometry that attacks the material effectively, while the SDS-Plus shank allows direct coupling with compatible rotary hammers. With a working length of 50 mm, it is a compact bit, suited to shallow holes and surface fixings.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
