What it is

The DeWalt DT9540-QZ is a 10 mm diameter SDS-Plus Extreme bit dedicated to hammer drilling in concrete. The reinforced core supports its durability over repeated working cycles, while the SDS-Plus shank ensures direct coupling with compatible rotary hammers. With a working length of 100 mm, it is a versatile choice for the most common medium-depth holes on site.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
