What it is

The DeWalt DT9526-QZ is a hammer drill bit from the SDS-Plus Extreme range with a diameter of 7 mm, designed for drilling concrete. The twin-flute structure, two-cutting-edge head and reinforced core promote fast debris removal and good resistance over repeated working cycles, while the SDS-Plus shank ensures coupling with compatible rotary hammers. The working length of 150 mm allows holes of intermediate depth to be handled.

A masonry bit is a carbide-tipped bit for drilling concrete, brick and stone with a hammer drill or rotary hammer.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
