SDS-plus Extreme bit 26x450x400mm DeWalt DT9616-QZ

What it is

The DeWalt DT9616-QZ is a 26 mm diameter SDS-Plus Extreme bit with a working length of 400 mm. The carbide grit head and two-cutting-edge geometry (2 cutters) are designed to drill concrete in depth with steady progress, while the SDS-Plus shank ensures quick attachment and a stable hold on rotary hammers fitted with this chuck.

A masonry bit is a carbide-tipped bit for drilling concrete, brick and stone with a hammer drill or rotary hammer.

Used for drilling reinforced concrete, in hammer or rotary hammer mode and for drilling solid and hollow masonry, clay brick and blocks.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
