SDS-plus bit 4mm DeWalt DT9630-QZ

What it is

The DeWalt DT9630-QZ is an SDS-Plus bit with a diameter of 4 mm, an overall length of 110 mm and a working length of 50 mm. The carbide-tooth head and two-cutting-edge design (2 cutters) ensure precise engagement with concrete, while the reinforced core improves the strength of the bit in use. The SDS-Plus shank allows quick, secure mounting on compatible rotary hammers.

A masonry bit is a carbide-tipped bit for drilling concrete, brick and stone with a hammer drill or rotary hammer.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
