SDS-plus bit 18x210mm DeWalt DT9655-QZ

What it is

The DeWalt DT9655-QZ SDS-Plus drill bit offers an 18 mm diameter over an overall length of 210 mm, with 150 mm of effective working length. The carbide-tipped head and 2-cutter configuration are optimised for hammer drilling in concrete, while the SDS PLUS shank ensures a quick, stable fit in hammers and rotary hammers.

A masonry bit is a carbide-tipped bit for drilling concrete, brick and stone with a hammer drill or rotary hammer.

What it is for

Used for drilling reinforced concrete, in hammer or rotary hammer mode and for drilling solid and hollow masonry, clay brick and blocks.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
