SDS-plus bit 8x210mm DeWalt DT9642-QZ

What it is

The DeWalt DT9642-QZ is an SDS-Plus bit with a diameter of 8 mm, an overall length of 210 mm and a working length of 150 mm. The carbide grit head and two-cutting-edge design (2 cutters) ensure effective engagement with concrete, while the reinforced core improves the strength of the bit in use. The SDS-Plus shank allows quick changes and a firm hold on compatible rotary hammers.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
