Torpedo level 250mm DeWalt DWHT0-43003

What it is

The DeWalt DWHT0-43003 torpedo level is a compact levelling tool 250 mm long, fitted with 3 vials for reading the plane in several orientations. The compact size makes it handy and easy to store, ideal for quick checks of horizontality and verticality even in tight spaces where long levels cannot be used.

A torpedo level is a short, compact spirit level, often magnetic, for checking level, plumb and angles in tight spaces and on pipes, boxes and profiles.

What it is for

Used for levelling surfaces and structures and for setting out, for measuring on site and in the workshop and in masonry work, from laying blocks to filling chases.

How to use it

Place the level on the clean workpiece; magnetic models hold on their own to steel pipes and profiles, leaving your hands free. Use the V-groove in the base to centre the level on pipes and round bars. Read the vial by looking straight at it and check calibration by turning it through 180° on the same spot. Protect it from impacts and wipe off any metal filings picked up by the magnet.
