Felt flap discs Fervi DLF125

What it is

Fervi DLF125 felt flap discs are polishing tools with a Ø 125 mm diameter, designed for soft, even finishing of metals. The felt flaps conform to the surface of the workpiece, distributing pressure evenly for gentle contact that promotes uniform polishing even on non-flat profiles. The Ø 125 mm diameter is compatible with commonly used angle grinders.

A flap disc is an abrasive made of overlapping cloth flaps, on a disc for angle grinders or on a shank for straight grinders, that roughs down and finishes metal and wood.

What it is for

Used for finishing surfaces, for sanding metal, from roughing to finishing and for polishing surfaces.

How to use it

Fit the disc on the angle grinder, or insert the shank-mounted flap wheel in the collet of the straight grinder or drill, observing the maximum speed. Work with light pressure at a slight angle, keeping the tool moving so as not to overheat or mark the workpiece. Progress from coarse to fine grits for finishing, and replace the disc when the cloth is worn down to the backing.
