What it is
Fervi UNCD/F115F non-woven finishing discs have a diameter of Ø 115 mm and are made of non-woven material for finishing operations on metal surfaces. The F (fine) version is a gentler grade, ideal for evening out and satin finishing metal without removing excess material, thanks to the resilient synthetic fibre structure impregnated with abrasive. The Ø 115 mm size fits common angle grinders.
The non-woven disc is an abrasive made of compressed synthetic fibres impregnated with abrasive, which satin-finishes, cleans and finishes metal without removing much material.
What it is for
Used for finishing surfaces, for preparing surfaces before treatment and for cleaning oxides, grease and machining residues from metal.
How to use it
Fit it on the grinder or satin-finishing machine, checking the diameter, bore and maximum speed. Work with light pressure, moving it steadily in the direction of the grain to obtain an even finish. It is not for roughing. Replace it when it loses its bite; wear safety glasses and gloves.
