Mini flap disc Fast Lock Fervi MFD075/120Z

What it is

The Fervi MFD075/120Z Fast Lock mini flap disc is an abrasive with a Fast Lock quick-change system, for fast, tool-free changes. With a diameter of Ø 75 mm and grit 120, it delivers a gentle, even action over a large working surface, ideal for the final finishing stages where a smooth surface is required. It is made in Italy with certified production and complies with Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, with CE marking.

A flap disc is an abrasive made of overlapping cloth flaps, on a disc for angle grinders or on a shank for straight grinders, that roughs down and finishes metal and wood.

What it is for

Used for sanding metal, from roughing to finishing, for deburring metal after cutting and drilling and for grinding and cleaning up weld seams and burrs.

How to use it

Fit the disc on the angle grinder, or insert the shank-mounted flap wheel in the collet of the straight grinder or drill, observing the maximum speed. Work with light pressure at a slight angle, keeping the tool moving so as not to overheat or mark the workpiece. Progress from coarse to fine grits for finishing, and replace the disc when the cloth is worn down to the backing.
