What it is

The Fervi P065/12.75 is a straight-shank twist drill bit in cobalt alloy with a diameter of Ø 12.75 mm, designed for those who drill hard metals every day and cannot afford any drop in performance. The 135° point angle and a hardness of 800-900 HV ensure positive penetration and wear resistance, keeping the cutting edge sharp even in heavy-duty working conditions.

What it is for

Used for drilling steel, stainless steel and aluminium, on a pillar drill or with a hand-held drill and in workshop machining of steel, aluminium and alloy parts.

How to use it

Clamp the workpiece in a vice, mark the centre and set the speed for the diameter and material: low for hard steels and large diameters, higher for aluminium and plastic. Lubricate with cutting oil on steel; on plastic, reduce the pressure as the bit breaks through to avoid chipping. Insert taper-shank drills into the pillar drill's spindle taper and remove them with a drift.
