Reducer fittings RDM and GRD Fischer

What it is

The RDM and GRD Fischer reducer is a threaded connecting element with an M8 type A thread and a length L of 40 mm, available in a pack of 50 pieces. It makes it possible to adapt different threads to one another in fixing and support systems, simplifying the connections between components.

A nut is the female threaded fastener that, screwed onto a screw, bolt or threaded rod, completes the fixing; the category also includes lock nuts, self-locking nuts and coupling nuts.

How to use it

Choose a nut with the same diameter, pitch and material as the screw or rod, zinc-plated with zinc-plated and stainless with stainless. Start the first few threads by hand to avoid damaging them, then tighten with a spanner or socket of the correct size, fitting a washer where needed. Where there is vibration, use a self-locking nut or a lock nut.
