Spill kit for oils in stackable wheeled bin 285 L Carvel

What it is

Emergency kit for oils and petroleum derivatives, with absorbents that hold hydrocarbons even when the leak reaches water. The material, amounting to 149 litres of absorbency, sits in a 285 litre wheeled polyethylene container with a wide tray and a lid, which can be stacked on other identical containers. It measures 1000x650x700 mm and the wheels allow it to be taken to the spill.

Industrial absorbents are pads, rolls, pillows, booms and kits that soak up spills of oil, chemicals or water and stop them spreading.

What it is for

Used for industrial maintenance of plant and machinery, for industrial cleaning of production areas, machinery and plant and for workplace safety, as equipment required by the safety plan.

How to use it

Choose the absorbent for the liquid (oil-only, chemical or universal) and keep a spill kit ready near high-risk points. In the event of a spill, put on PPE, surround the spill with booms, cover the drain and lay pads and pillows from the outside towards the centre. Collect used absorbents in closed containers and dispose of them as waste according to the substance absorbed.
