Universal spill kit in wheeled bin of 240 L, absorbency 265 L Carvel

What it is

Spill kit for universal liquid spills, packed in a 240 litre wheeled bin that is taken directly to the spot. The absorbents it contains hold up to 265 litres of liquid in total. It is aimed at industry, transport, airports, railways, ports, motorways and street cleaning and waste services, where safety regulations require a kit to contain and absorb leaks of hazardous substances.

Industrial absorbents are pads, rolls, pillows, booms and kits that soak up spills of oil, chemicals or water and stop them spreading.

What it is for

Used for managing and collecting production and job-site waste, for industrial cleaning of production areas, machinery and plant and for workplace safety, as equipment required by the safety plan.

How to use it

Choose the absorbent for the liquid (oil-only, chemical or universal) and keep a spill kit ready near high-risk points. In the event of a spill, put on PPE, surround the spill with booms, cover the drain and lay pads and pillows from the outside towards the centre. Collect used absorbents in closed containers and dispose of them as waste according to the substance absorbed.

Safe use

Dispose of used absorbents as waste, using the waste code of the liquid they have absorbed. After each intervention, replenish the contents and return the bin to near the loading, decanting and storage areas.
