Dehumidifying hydraulic lime mortar for macroporous plasters Limepor MONO Kimia

What it is

Kimia Limepor MONO ready-to-use dehumidifying renovation mortar, based on natural hydraulic lime NHL 3.5 and eco-pozzolan. A single product provides both the scratch coat and the macroporous plaster, with salt-blocking and dehumidifying action at the same time. It is CE marked as renovation mortar R CS II to UNI EN 998-1; it is a grey powder, with a pH of 12 in aqueous dispersion. It is not a bulk lime to be mixed with sand.

Lime is a powder binder for bedding mortars, renders and scratch coats, suitable for breathable masonry and the restoration of historic buildings.

What it is for

Used for dehumidifying rooms and structures and for plastering walls and ceilings, by hand or by machine.

How to use it

Remove loose material and dampen the substrate before application. Mix with clean water, and with sand if the product is not pre-blended, in the proportions given in the technical data sheet until a uniform consistency is obtained. Apply by hand or by machine and protect the mortar from sun, wind and frost for the first few days to prevent it drying out too quickly.
