What it is

Self-amalgamating tape is a non-adhesive rubber tape that sticks only to itself, fusing into a single watertight layer; used for repairing and sealing pipes, joints and cables.
What it is for
Used for wiring control panels and installations, in the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems and for sealing joints, gaps and service penetrations.
How to use it
Clean and dry the area to be repaired. Wrap the tape in a spiral, stretching it as it is pulled and overlapping the turns, so that the layers fuse together. Leave for the time indicated before repressurising. It does not adhere to dirty or wet surfaces.
