What it is
Double steel karabiner EN 1CK2 SpanSet. Key specifications: material Steel.
A karabiner is a certified metal connector with a screw-lock, auto-lock or screw-link closure that connects harnesses, lanyards and anchors in work at height.
What it is for
Used for work at height, where access and restraint must be ensured for the whole job and for fall protection, as part of a fall arrest or work restraint system.
How to use it
Before each use, check for deformation, cracks or corrosion and make sure the gate closes fully on its own. Clip it so that the load acts along the major axis, never on the gate or crosswise over edges, and lock the sleeve or screw. Withdraw it from use after a fall and have it inspected periodically by a competent person.
