What it is

The screw-gate link is a closed metal ring with a threaded sleeve, used to join lanyards, harnesses and anchors.

What it is for

Used for work at height, where access and restraint must be ensured for the whole job and for fall protection, as part of a fall arrest or work restraint system.

How to use it

Open it by unscrewing the sleeve, insert the element to be connected and screw the sleeve back fully until completely closed. The load must act along the major axis of the link. Before each use, check the thread, the closure and that there is no deformation, and withdraw it after a fall.
