What it is

The Awelco HF 26 TIG torch (code 96020) is designed for professional welders who require precision and control on stainless steel, aluminium and light alloys. An essential tool for machine shops, industrial sites and metalworking workshops, it ensures consistent performance in both DC and AC modes.

The TIG torch is the handle that holds the tungsten electrode and delivers the inert gas to the weld point; some have a control for striking the arc.

How to use it

Fit the sharpened tungsten electrode with a suitable collet and nozzle, connect the torch to the welding machine and the gas, and adjust the electrode stick-out. Check the seals and replace the collet, nozzle and gaskets if worn.
