What it is
The Awelco TRIS 250 MMA inverter welder (code N18190) is the professional solution for stick electrode welding in craft, industrial and maintenance settings. Designed to ensure stability and control, it suits work on carbon steel, stainless steel and special alloys, delivering consistent performance even in prolonged sessions.
A MIG/MAG welder is a power source that feeds a continuous wire through the torch, either gas-shielded or gasless flux-cored; this family includes wires and gas cylinders.
What it is for
Used in steel fabrication, from cutting to assembly and in welding and the work that goes with it.
How to use it
Fit the spool and check that the drive rolls and contact tip match the wire diameter; for solid wire, connect a cylinder of the shielding gas suited to the material, while gasless flux-cored wire does not need one. Clamp the earth to the clean workpiece, set the voltage and wire feed speed and weld keeping the torch at a constant distance. Clean spatter from the nozzle and tip frequently, and work with a welding helmet, gloves and good ventilation.
