Combination Hammers

The combination hammer combines two functions: large-diameter rotary hammer drilling and light demolition with a chisel. It is a site tool for holes in reinforced concrete, core drilling with large bits, openings and medium-scale demolition. It generally takes tools with an SDS-Max shank.

• Corded SDS-Max combination hammers, in the 7, 8 and 10 kg classes
• 54 V XR FlexVolt cordless combination hammers, for working without a cable
• Models with a drilling capacity of up to approximately 48 mm

How to choose

What counts is the diameter of the holes to be made, the impact energy in joules and the weight: more mass is needed to drill and break effectively, less to work for long periods or in awkward positions. Check that the model has a function selector for switching from drilling to hammer-only mode.
