A combination hammer is an SDS-Max hammer that drills with rotation and percussion and, with rotation switched off, chisels concrete and masonry.
What it is for
Used for light demolition, chasing and localised removal, for drilling reinforced concrete, in hammer or rotary hammer mode and for chiselling concrete, masonry and plaster.
How to use it
Make sure there are no cables or pipes at the work point. Insert the clean, greased SDS-Max bit or chisel and select the mode: hammer drilling or chiselling only. Hold the tool with both hands, using the side handle and depth stop, without pushing too hard. Wear safety glasses, hearing protection, a dust mask and gloves.
