Insulation plug FID II Plus Fischer

What it is

The FID II Plus insulation anchor Fischer is a fixing dedicated to insulation boards, with a fixing length of 80 mm and a TX40 drive for quick, controlled driving. It is supplied in a box of 25 pieces, a format suited to work on facades and external insulation systems. The greater length makes it suitable for boards of considerable thickness.

Plasterboard and insulation fixings are fixings that open out behind the board or hold insulation panels in place, for fixing to hollow walls and ETICS insulation systems.

What it is for

Used for general-purpose fixing into masonry, concrete and timber and for mechanical fixing of structures and components to walls, ceilings and floors.

How to use it

Drill the board with a suitable bit or screw the self-drilling plug in directly, without hammer action. Insert the fixing and tighten it until it opens out behind the board, without overtightening so as not to break through the plasterboard. For insulation, drill through to the load-bearing substrate and insert the fixing flush with the panel, using the specified setting tool.
