What it is
The TherMax II masonry anchor Fischer is a thermally broken spaced fixing, fitted with an M12 threaded rod 204 mm long and an M12 thread. It offers an adjustable useful length between 64 and 170 mm, with a recommended tightening torque Tinst of 20 N·m, and is supplied in a box of 20 pieces. The spaced fixing makes it possible to apply loads away from the wall without creating significant thermal bridges.
Plasterboard and insulation fixings are fixings that open out behind the board or hold insulation panels in place, for fixing to hollow walls and ETICS insulation systems.
What it is for
Used for anchoring shelves, brackets and structures to walls, for mechanical fixing of structures and components to walls, ceilings and floors and for structural fixings, where the fixing is load-bearing and must be calculated.
How to use it
Drill the board with a suitable bit or screw the self-drilling plug in directly, without hammer action. Insert the fixing and tighten it until it opens out behind the board, without overtightening so as not to break through the plasterboard. For insulation, drill through to the load-bearing substrate and insert the fixing flush with the panel, using the specified setting tool.
