What it is
The Unifix SMIPT plug with glass-fibre reinforced Nylon PA6 screw (code 0903-808-095-01) is the professional solution for securely fixing insulation boards to mixed substrates. Designed for installers, thermal technicians and building contractors who require a reliable anchor without thermal bridges, this screw-in system eliminates the need for hammering, preserving the integrity of the insulating materials.
Plasterboard and insulation fixings are fixings that open out behind the board or hold insulation panels in place, for fixing to hollow walls and ETICS insulation systems.
What it is for
Used for general-purpose fixing into masonry, concrete and timber and for thermal insulation of walls, roofs and pipework.
How to use it
Drill the board with a suitable bit or screw the self-drilling plug in directly, without hammer action. Insert the fixing and tighten it until it opens out behind the board, without overtightening so as not to break through the plasterboard. For insulation, drill through to the load-bearing substrate and insert the fixing flush with the panel, using the specified setting tool.
