What it is

A roller shutter strap is the fabric belt that winds into the winder and is pulled to raise and lower the roller shutter or blind.

What it is for

Used for assembly work and for workshop and on-site repairs.

How to use it

Choose one of a width suited to the winder and long enough to cover the whole travel of the blind. One end is connected to the blind, the other to the winder, checking that it winds up neatly. Replace it when it frays or is cut, before it breaks in use.
