What it is

The Colorificio Adriatico FIX PLUG 8 PLA anchor is the professional solution for the mechanical fixing of external insulation systems (ETICS). Designed for applications on residential, commercial and industrial buildings, this anchor ensures stability and durability over time, even in adverse weather conditions.

Plasterboard and insulation fixings are fixings that open out behind the board or hold insulation panels in place, for fixing to hollow walls and ETICS insulation systems.

What it is for

Used for general-purpose fixing into masonry, concrete and timber and for thermal insulation of walls, roofs and pipework.

How to use it

Drill the board with a suitable bit or screw the self-drilling plug in directly, without hammer action. Insert the fixing and tighten it until it opens out behind the board, without overtightening so as not to break through the plasterboard. For insulation, drill through to the load-bearing substrate and insert the fixing flush with the panel, using the specified setting tool.
