Auger bits for wood DeWalt DT4621-QZ

What it is

The DeWalt DT4621-QZ is a wood auger bit of 32 mm diameter, designed for drilling large-section holes with precision and regularity. The working length of 100 mm and the total length of 200 mm allow a controlled feed in wood and derived materials, while the spiral geometry makes it easier to expel chips during drilling.

A wood drill bit is a brad-point, auger, spade or Forstner bit that drills clean, accurate holes in solid wood, panels and chipboard.

What it is for

Used for drilling wood and panels.

How to use it

Place the centre point on the mark and start at low speed; always use large-diameter spade and Forstner bits at reduced speed. To avoid breakout, rest the workpiece on a piece of scrap wood or finish the hole from the opposite side. Use extensions for deep holes, locking them by tightening the screw firmly.
