What it is

The Fervi 0419 random orbital air sander is a compressed-air tool with a 150 mm (6") backing pad and provision for dust extraction, suitable for sanding large surfaces. The 5 mm (3/16") orbit and the maximum speed of 10500 rpm deliver a decisive finishing action, while the operating pressure of 6 bar / 90 psi and the estimated air consumption of 3 SCFM (85 L/min) define its use. With a 1/4" air inlet, a length of 200 mm and a net weight of 1 kg, it is comfortable even during prolonged use.

How to use it

Apply a disc of the appropriate grit to the hook-and-loop pad, lining up the holes for dust extraction, and connect a dust extractor or collection bag. Rest the sander on the surface before starting it and move it in criss-cross passes, letting the weight of the tool do the work. Work through the grits progressively, from coarsest to finest, wearing a dust mask.
