Diamond segmented backing pad Fervi D040/180

What it is

The Fervi D040/180 is a segmented diamond cup wheel for angle grinders: diameter 180 mm, bore 22.2 mm, 14 + 14 diamond segments and a maximum speed of 8,500 rpm. Fervi recommends it for general use on porcelain stoneware, clinker, travertine, terracotta, hard ceramic, tiles and marble, to be used with or without water. It is also available in 115 mm (D040/115, 8 + 8 segments, 13,300 rpm).

The diamond cup wheel is a cup-shaped disc with segments or a diamond rim, to be fitted to an angle grinder for grinding and levelling concrete, stone and screeds.

What it is for

Used for sanding surfaces, as preparation or as a finish and for sanding surfaces before treatment.

How to use it

Fit it to the grinder with the correct fitting, with the machine stopped and disconnected. Work with light pressure and regular movements, holding it flat on the surface, dry with extraction or wet, as indicated. Check that the speed of the machine does not exceed the maximum of the cup wheel and wear safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection and a dust mask, because the dust is harmful.
