What it is
The Fervi P023/03.00L2 drill bit belongs to the extra-long series of cutting tools for drilling. Made of steel with a diameter of Ø 3 mm, it has a 135° point angle and a hardness of 770-830 HV: parameters that ensure good centring and good cutting-edge durability over time. The parallel shank makes it easy to fit in conventional chucks.

What it is for
Used for drilling steel, stainless steel and aluminium, on a pillar drill or with a hand-held drill and in workshop machining of steel, aluminium and alloy parts.
How to use it
Clamp the workpiece in a vice, mark the centre and set the speed for the diameter and material: low for hard steels and large diameters, higher for aluminium and plastic. Lubricate with cutting oil on steel; on plastic, reduce the pressure as the bit breaks through to avoid chipping. Insert taper-shank drills into the pillar drill's spindle taper and remove them with a drift.
