What it is

The Fischer ClassicFast FCF II CTF BC is a quick fixing from the manufacturer's range of fixing systems, designed for fast and secure installation. It has a diameter of 3 mm, a length of 16 mm and a thread length of 12 mm, with a 5.8 mm head and a TX10 drive for precise driving. It is supplied in boxes of 1,000 pieces, a format ideal for series production work.

Wood screws are screws with a wood thread, also supplied with a plug or collar, for assembling timber and fixing frames and battens to walls.

What it is for

Used for woodworking in the joinery shop and for fixing into timber, from assembly work to carpentry.

How to use it

Choose a length that penetrates at least two-thirds into the second piece. In hardwoods or near edges, pre-drill to prevent the wood from splitting. Drive with a bit of the right size, keeping the screwdriver in line and setting the clutch so as not to strip the head.
