What it is
The TherMax 8 / 10 spaced fixing in blister pack from Fischer is a spaced anchoring system for mounting elements on insulated substrates. It requires a drill hole diameter d0 of 12 mm with a hole depth of 180 mm and offers an anchorage depth hef of 70 mm, with a usable, adjustable length from 100 to 120 mm. It includes a 22 mm ADK cap, a 13 mm tightening wrench and an M8 thread in A4 stainless steel. The contents are UX 12 x 70 / TherMax, in packs of 2 pieces.
Plasterboard and insulation fixings are fixings that open out behind the board or hold insulation panels in place, for fixing to hollow walls and ETICS insulation systems.
What it is for
Used for anchoring shelves, brackets and structures to walls and for general-purpose fixing into masonry, concrete and timber.
How to use it
Drill the board with a suitable bit or screw the self-drilling plug in directly, without hammer action. Insert the fixing and tighten it until it opens out behind the board, without overtightening so as not to break through the plasterboard. For insulation, drill through to the load-bearing substrate and insert the fixing flush with the panel, using the specified setting tool.
