Sleeve RD Fischer

What it is

The Fischer RD sleeve is a threaded reducing element designed to connect components with different threads in fixing systems. It has an M12 internal thread and an M10 external thread (M12 / M10 reduction), a length of 25 mm and a 17 mm spanner size. It is supplied in a box of 100 pieces.

The coupling nut is a cylindrical or hexagonal element with an internal thread that joins two threaded rods or extends one.

What it is for

Used for assembling steel structures, for mechanical fixing of structures and components to walls, ceilings and floors and for erecting steelwork and structural carpentry.

How to use it

Choose the coupling nut with the same thread as the rods and screw it onto one rod, then screw on the other until it stops, checking that both are engaged to the full depth. If it has a hexagonal profile, tighten it with a spanner. Check the connection before loading it.
