High-efficiency pulley PRO Traxion Petzl

What it is

PRO TRAXION (code P055AA00) is a Petzl pulley, compliant with EN 12278. It is intended for professional use in work at height, rope access and rescue, according to the manufacturer's instructions.

The rope pulley is a compact sheave with bearings, in an openable metal frame, used in work at height and in rescue to change the direction of the rope or to reduce the effort required; some models have an integrated rope clamp.

Used for work at height, where access and restraint must be ensured for the whole job and for lifting loads, with accessories rated for the weight involved.

How to use it

Choose according to the rope diameter and the stated working load. Open the side plate, insert the rope into the groove and close it again, then connect it to the anchor point with a suitable karabiner, checking that the rope runs freely and in the correct direction. Use requires specific training: before each use, inspect it and withdraw it if it has cracks, wear or a damaged groove.
