What it is

The Awelco ARC 250 MMA inverter welder (code 51925) is the professional solution for stick electrode welding in craft, industrial and maintenance settings. Designed to ensure arc stability and precise control, it suits work on carbon steel, stainless steel and basic-electrode-compatible materials, with a 230V single-phase supply for maximum operating flexibility.

A stick (MMA) welder is a power source that melts a coated electrode to weld steel, stainless steel and cast iron; it is used with electrodes, cables and connectors.

How to use it

Connect the earth clamp to the clean workpiece close to the joint, fit the electrode in the electrode holder and set the current according to the type and diameter of the electrode. Strike the arc by scratching the electrode on the workpiece and travel with a short arc and constant angle; at the end of the bead, remove the slag with a chipping hammer and wire brush. Store electrodes in a dry place and work with a welding helmet, gloves and welding clothing.
