What it is
The Bossong DIS insulation anchor (code DIS) is the professional solution for secure, thermal-bridge-free fixings in external thermal insulation systems and technical insulation. Designed for installers, thermal technicians and building contractors who require reliable anchoring on rigid or soft insulation boards, without compromising the energy performance of the building envelope.
Plasterboard and insulation fixings are fixings that open out behind the board or hold insulation panels in place, for fixing to hollow walls and ETICS insulation systems.
What it is for
Used for general-purpose fixing into masonry, concrete and timber and for thermal insulation of walls, roofs and pipework.
How to use it
Drill the board with a suitable bit or screw the self-drilling plug in directly, without hammer action. Insert the fixing and tighten it until it opens out behind the board, without overtightening so as not to break through the plasterboard. For insulation, drill through to the load-bearing substrate and insert the fixing flush with the panel, using the specified setting tool.
