Insulation anchor T-IS Bossong

What it is

The insulation anchor T-IS by Bossong is a plastic fixing designed for anchoring light objects to external thermal insulation systems. The self-drilling tip allows quick installation without pre-drilling, ensuring a secure grip in materials such as EPS, XPS and wood fibre. Ideal for applications on insulated façades, it is the best solution for mounting lamps, door entry phones, letterboxes and other lightweight accessories in residential building and renovation work.

Plasterboard and insulation fixings are fixings that open out behind the board or hold insulation panels in place, for fixing to hollow walls and ETICS insulation systems.

What it is for

Used for general-purpose fixing into masonry, concrete and timber and for thermal insulation of walls, roofs and pipework.

How to use it

Drill the board with a suitable bit or screw the self-drilling plug in directly, without hammer action. Insert the fixing and tighten it until it opens out behind the board, without overtightening so as not to break through the plasterboard. For insulation, drill through to the load-bearing substrate and insert the fixing flush with the panel, using the specified setting tool.
