Threaded rods DeWalt DFC4130050

What it is

DeWalt DFC4130050 threaded rods are fixing elements for chemical anchoring systems, supplied in packs of 10 with a length of 130 cm and boxed packaging. They are inserted into the prepared hole and fixed with resin to create strong anchorages in masonry and concrete substrates.

Threaded rod is steel rod threaded along its entire length which, with nuts, washers and connectors, is used to make tie rods, hangers and chemical anchor fixings.

What it is for

Used for chemical anchoring, where the load or edge distance rules out a mechanical anchor, for structural fixings, where the fixing is load-bearing and must be calculated and for supporting pipework and ductwork.

How to use it

Cut to length with a hacksaw or angle grinder and clean up the thread with a file or by running a nut over it. Screw it into couplers and connectors or set it in the hole with chemical anchor, then tighten with a nut and washer. Choose the property class and finish, zinc-plated or stainless, according to the load and environment.
