What it is
The DeWalt DT4541-QZ hinge cutter is fitted with carbide inserts and is designed for working wood. With a diameter of 26 mm, typical for cup hinge recesses, and a length of 65 cm, it produces precise housings with clean edges. The hexagonal (Hex) connecting shank ensures a firm grip in the chuck and reduces slipping during drilling. It is supplied in a single pack.
Wood cutters are rotating tools with cutting edges that cut recesses and profiles in wood, for example for plugs, hinge recesses or concealed fixings.

How to use it
Tighten the cutter firmly in the chuck and set the working depth. Clamp the workpiece and start the tool at a suitable speed, advancing with light, constant pressure. Withdraw it from time to time to clear the chips. Wear safety glasses and hearing protection.
