Metal fixing for boards and panels HM Fischer

What it is

The HM metal fixing for sheets and panels from Fischer is a metal expansion plug designed for anchoring in sheets and panels, where the expansion mechanism ensures a reliable grip on the back of the panel. It offers an anchorage depth of 8 mm and is supplied in a box with a pack of 1 piece.

Plasterboard and insulation fixings are fixings that open out behind the board or hold insulation panels in place, for fixing to hollow walls and ETICS insulation systems.

What it is for

Used for general-purpose fixing into masonry, concrete and timber and for fixing into plasterboard and lightweight partitions.

How to use it

Drill the board with a suitable bit or screw the self-drilling plug in directly, without hammer action. Insert the fixing and tighten it until it opens out behind the board, without overtightening so as not to break through the plasterboard. For insulation, drill through to the load-bearing substrate and insert the fixing flush with the panel, using the specified setting tool.
