Fixing for panels DuoHM Fischer

What it is

The DuoHM fixing for panels from Fischer is a fixing system designed for anchoring in plasterboard panels and walls. It requires a hole with a diameter of 8 mm (d0) and a minimum depth of 55 mm, for a fixing length of 55 mm, and is fitted with an M4x55 mm screw with PZ2 tool drive. It is suitable for panels with a thickness between 9.5 and 30 mm and allows elements up to a maximum thickness of 8 mm to be fixed, with a minimum cavity depth of 45 mm behind the panel. The pack contains 4 pieces.

Plasterboard and insulation fixings are fixings that open out behind the board or hold insulation panels in place, for fixing to hollow walls and ETICS insulation systems.

What it is for

Used for fixing into plasterboard and lightweight partitions and for mechanical fixing of structures and components to walls, ceilings and floors.

How to use it

Drill the board with a suitable bit or screw the self-drilling plug in directly, without hammer action. Insert the fixing and tighten it until it opens out behind the board, without overtightening so as not to break through the plasterboard. For insulation, drill through to the load-bearing substrate and insert the fixing flush with the panel, using the specified setting tool.
