Oil-absorbing inspection chamber Rototec

What it is

The oil-absorbing chamber is a chamber with an oil-absorbing cartridge/fabric in a removable stainless steel housing that retains oils and hydrocarbons in runoff water; suitable for car parks, yards, car washes and refuelling areas downstream of a first-flush system or oil separator. One-piece corrugated LLDPE structure with PVC stubs; removable stainless steel basket for washing/replacing the fabric. Maintenance: periodic inspections and replacement of the media when saturated.

The inspection chamber is a prefabricated chamber, usually plastic and buried, inserted along the drain line to inspect, sample, separate or treat the water, each type having a specific function.

What it is for

Used for filtering system water and in the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems.

How to use it

Bury it on a levelled bedding, connecting the upstream and downstream pipes in the direction of flow and respecting the gradients. Bring the cover up to ground level and keep it accessible. Inspect and clean it at regular intervals, according to its function.
